The tranny linkage was so sloppy I wonder how I had forward gears
and upon inspection noticed the bushing was missing from the linkage. I mentioned the PO replaced the X engine with a 128 and at the time didn't know what to expect trying to order parts. I bought a new tranny link and installed it. The shift tube would not line
up with the link. The PO used the old 128 upper rod
(engine mount) that's 5 7/16 long. I installed a new
x rod 6" long. That rotated the engine forward and allowed everything to line up. I have reverse now and

How extensive to dress up wheels ? Alloys, Steel ? I just recieved the rims back from the powdercoating processor and they turned out real well. Good bang for the buck. The were prepped real well. The powdercoating process rendered an almost flawless coat and was one quarter the cost of traditional finish methods (primer + topcoat) lezesig '79 X 1/9
