I have to be very careful not to tear the dash with the corner of the guage cluster. I think I also made a hook out of an old table knife to reach in and pull and wiggle the cluster out with. Just a very small hook on the end. The knife is also useful to kind of hold the dash back out of the way of the corner. Good luck.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

I put vise grips on two of the screws, then shoved the screws back into their holes(one left,,one right side)wedged them against the plastic(not tooooo hard) and then wiggled while pulling. You want to get the right side loose the most. When it is out far enough I used a standard screwdriver to push down on the right side of the knurled nut holding in the speedo and after the three electric connectors and the ground out she came<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

After you get that out of the way you can reach in and unscrew the speedo cable and then push the cluster out with your hand. This eliminates the possibility of cracking the face. After she's pushed through, just disconnect the electrical plastic connectors and your home free.
