Hurricane Report

Waitin' On Parts...
Irene=It Rained

The Philadelphia area got a lot of rain, and the spots that always flood when we get a lot of rain, well, flooded.

There were reports of tornado conditions in an outlying county to the NW, but no significant damage. One small tornado in Delaware did take out a handful of houses. Lots of power outages in South Jersey, but that's to be expected as they were closer to the eye of the storm.

Could have been a lot worse, but we normally don't get the wrath of Mother Nature here...tornadoes, hurricanes, drought, earthquakes are very rare.

alls fine

here in bay ridge brooklyn just a lot of debris from trees (leaves and small branches)

Very true! Brutal winter and now this... 70mph gust still going on now! I'm 1/2mile from the Long Island Sound.

Generator power since 1AM and this tree just missed my Corsa :shock: ... always could be worse :nod:

Better to be inconvenienced and alive, than the other possible options. :woot:

Power went out Sunday morning, just came back on about an hour ago. 4 Days on generator, no water, no nothing. Had a cold fridge tho'. Only a few down tree's, one missed the pool by inches. Everybody is safe and sound.
