Jaws drop for Fiat 500

Now this is good...

I like this alot. It actually presents a very good perspective on Fiat, and I really really like the emphasis on the older cars.....that's good stuff. Great job Brett!! Rob too....great spokespeople for our cars. This is a great thing....

These folks who are so deep in the belief that FIAT builds cheap, un-reliable heaps they should race their favorite brand of car in the 24 Hour of LeMons and see just how well you do and have some humble pie.

Just like this automotive journalist / blogger:
http://cars.about.com/b/2009/08/17/our-24-hours-of-lemons-racing-weekend.htm

It is difficult to chage belief and ideology once it's been ingrained and propaganda turned into reality. This will be FIATs most serious challenge in the USA car market, over coming this belief and reputation.

Love the comments to that article :) Clearly some jaws remain un-dropped.

Clearly they are idiots...

Don't even know what the car is all about. Uninformed too.

It is small but also safe. 7 airbags, 5 star crash rating and it still makes people smile. Don't dis it, give it a chance. If you are so big that you cannot fit, well that is a different story. I suspect that you may have problems fitting in larger cars as well. The Fiat 500 doesn't pretend to be anything other than a fun, economy car. It doesn't need to be boring like a Yaris. Plus, there is a good chance that these will be built in the US, more jobs for us, less government meddling. This car is NOT for everyone so you can keep your Mercedes and leave the 500 to those who appreciate what it is and how well it does it. Plus, that will be one less on the waiting list in front of me. ;-) Check this out for fun...
