John Edwards is cranking on my 1500 rebuild

What a nice guy - he's just been great. BUT, holy cow this means I need to start pulling the existing 1300 out now!

Any tips on this that may not be in the manual?

double check that everything is disconnected before lifting the car off the engine, I missed a couple of small things but luckily nothing got damaged.

Remember the ground strap!! Ask me how I know :wacko:

Also remove all the peripherals like dizzy, alternator, and fuel pump.
