I have been looking for a way to improve my radiator hose lines. I came across these "power grip" hose clamps from Gates. They are pretty cool and work the same as heat shrink hose for electrical wiring in that you heat and shrink the clamps. I still put regular steel band style clamps on top of them as well.
I also painted all of the hard lines black (theory to help dissipate heat better).
