Lancia Scorpion VIN# 1

Scorpion VIN# 1 when it was owned by Daphne (woman in photo) whose father owned a dealership that sold them in Pennsylvania in the 70s. Here for sale for $10K in the 1990s at Carlisle Import show

White with blue interior, no AC from factory. Its been exported since.

I imagine I saw it there, been going to the import show since 1989.

The car in the photo has two set of vents (in the center of the rear hood and along the rearmost portion of the hood. My understanding was that the second set of vents was there to provide additional cooling for cars with AC, which this car did not have; wonder why? My Montecarlo with no AC does not have the second set of vents.

The second row is for catalytic converter heat, not AC. All Scorpions came with cats and have the additional row.
