Here's a picture of a rough sketch I made of my current wiring to my coil. 2 wires concern me; the purp/black and a thicker brown wire. There is no capacitor attached to the coil. Rember...Yugo elect ign module and dizz in use.

Look at the wire colors... I don't see violet anywhere though.
Where it points out "Ignition Coil" is the positive of the coil.

Your diagram is for a later FI.

Do you have points or elect. Ignition?
Would you consider a later model setup?

Mid 80's Yugo set up.

I'm not worried about the coil or dizzy, it's only which posts, pos/neg should the 2 wires go to.

Hey Mudge I have the exact same setup I'm working on, so the red from the module goes to + on coil? Green goes to NEG and black to ground
Don't the other wires that were on the coil stay there?
