So it looks like I HAVE to buy Nick's cars. Like I need three more Xs right now. I mean, how can I possibly pass on this deal? The three cars are;
#1) A very cherry '79, all original, with original silver paint in near perfect shape. Interior is almost perfect. Orignal wheels and tires. Less than 50K miles. I first saw this car 16 years ago and wanted it BAD then but couldn't afford it. It is in virtually the same shape now. The only problem is a fantom electrical problem which results in the battery steadily draining over a period of a few days. Oh, and I rebuilt the gearbox less than 2000 miles ago.
#2) A nice little '76, very original, less than 70K miles, strong motor, rebuilt (by me) 4 spd, mostly original yellow paint, no rust. It even has an original, un-damaged, front spoiler! The only drawback is it has been sitting outside (undriven) for a year or so now.
#3) A '74 parts car. Nothing special, or particularly usefull.
Both cars (1 & 2) ran and drove like new when I last drove them. The '79 only needs some light freshening to be completely road worthy. The '76 needs a little more, but nothing major at all. Both cars I would love to have! Right now I have no place to put them and even less time. But I bought them anyway. I'll figure out some way to accomodate them.
