Low Season Leather and Vinyl interior sale Seats

Yes just pack up the seats and slow mail them. Same prices. He will even rebuild the springs and cushions if your old ones are tired or moldy... If your door cards are cracked or brittle he will cut new ones...:worship:

Sure. Just keep in mind for the best price wait until November on the Camaro Seats. He is located in Garden Grove California. Send me some pics and I can get him to quote you. He specifically told me not to give out his number but he will call you if you want. Not sure why that is I know it sounds strange for a guy in business but he does most of his work for Special Projects like the Sema Show and I think he doesnt have the time to field lots of calls. That is why I am just working with him to help you guys out with his fantastic prices and quality work. I am having him wrap two dash Boards in Leather soon. I will let you guys know the prices on those two once I Get one over to him. JJ

Sounds good. The prices look good. Since I have to pass on the 74, I am ready to invest in the interior some (more). I really like the full leather later bertone seats like Rudy's and that is the style I want to go with.

I am looking for a black "bomber jacket" style finish. Also antique. Hard to explain I think but maybe your guy will know.

Any idea on turn around time?

Tim,

It takes him about a week to a week and a half to finish a complete set. Just an FYI the price of this work is highly dependent on the materials. Most of your added expense will be with the materials since the labor is essentially the same. I recommend sourcing the leather if its something special and maybe either select it and buy it or tell him where and this will save you some grief. I have some Leather ones just like Rudy's that I will have him do as a mock up and if you like how those turn out I can have him do yours but I am not going to try to explain to him what you want in material its too risky. Find it the material first.

Jim, Yes I think that would look great. I recommend a slightly darker Tan than I had because remember it may fade a bit over time so might as well have it darker in the beginning.

Well. The low season has come and is almost gone and a few folks took advantage. I have to tell you that a certain xweb member got the full treatment. My interior specialist did the entire interior including the rear panel. The blue is Super Suede and the Black is all very high quality Leather including the door cards. Notice the nice stitching. This was not cheap as this entire car was requested to be custom. Including the Leather covering the spare tire well. And Snaps were installed to hold it in place. also a panel to cover the hole left by the stereo was installed.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics. I have two other cars being done right now in Black leather. Door cards and seats.. And both gentleman are getting a smoking deal...........

Some folks have requested the info on my interior guy but I was instructed not to give out his info. Here is why. He prefers to work with private clientele. For example he just completed two party buses for the Oakland raiders ( I will get some pics of them) and does not usually deal with the public. He has no signs in front of his business and he does not have a website or do the normal business stuff. Even after encouraging him to have these things he said he likes it like this. So if you want some work done just get a hold of me and I will try my best to get you a smokin deal..

CHeck out some before and after of my ABARTH Steering wheel and shift knob... The seats and door cards in this photo are all in leather...

Beautiful work !! I was wondering how much it might cost to re cover a leather steering wheel ?

This ended up costing me much more that I thought. But he charged me 250 for the wheel and shift knob... Very tedious hand stitching..

A wise choice. I have a gorgeous steering wheel from Italy made by "Ranieri",,,never heard of the company myself but it is a real beauty. It must have been made in the 70's. It's a little smaller than the typical sports wheel as well, but the covering (black vinyl I think) is shot. As much as I want to get it re covered,in my area it doesn't make much sense so I just aquired a new wheel. Maybe I should take an apholstery course some day,, lol

Yes. But let me get back to you on the price. I am not sure if that color is more expensive or not. I know when it comes to red Paint it is always more expensive. I will talk to my Interior guy tomorrow afternoon and ask him.....

OK I spoke with my guy.. The "low season is now officially over. I asked if he would extend the low price for a while and he said he would but not with quick turn around. He mentioned that there are Red colors available but the best thing is to submit a photo of your dream color so he can get as close as possible and Red can delay your start by a few weeks. So far a halve dozen folks have taken advantage of these prices. Here are some pics of my 85 bertone in full leather. He also did some alcantera for me that will blow your mind but I must warn you that it is Bank braking expensive...pics on that later...
