sory, i can;t help much .

Rolling back an odometer is illegal.

Man up and pay for what you have used instead of bilking someone out of what you chose to use.

Take responsibility for your own actions. Pay up and move along.

NOTE TO ADMIN - POSER USER

This is likely a scammer who will start spamming us in email. Please trace his IP and possibly delete.

To Duane and others.

I did a quick trace on the IP, and it seems to check out just fine.

Remember, this is a global board and some countries do not have rules against rolling back an odometer.

Now, is there a moral issue to it, well sure. However, I have no idea how to roll back the odometer on the car he has listed.

Thanks

Eric

Thanks Eric.

There are, as you know, well known ranges of IP's from many places, Africa being some of them, that are hotbeds for scammers. Thanks for checking. I used to download lists of these and block them at the DNS for government.

I'd have to wonder why someone would come here, sign up, and post such a broad and obviously suspect question about a Mitsu.

I hope there's no funny stuff. He's signed up and might start spamming. I hope not.

Damn I was hoping this was gonna be a swap thread instead of some troll trying to be an ass. OP gtfo, honest people post here about Fiat/Bertone X1/9's. This thread really has no place here, especially in the "X1/9 Tech" section.

Me too -I was wondering what they used for EMS on such a new transplant

This thread has absolutely no business here otherwise!

Geez Guys... is that anyway to welcome a Newbie?

I'll help...

Send me the speedo cluster and I'll fix ya right up!

As you've probably found out... running the car in reverse (4000 miles???) won't do it anymore, probably for the last 60 years too. A speedo specialist will probably charge you as much as your penalty also.

And next time yur approaching 29,999... you could do something about it then. Its easier!

Right now... the easiest and most moral thing to do is pay the difference.

Hope that helps!

we don't have

we don;t have any law that forbid rolling back an odometer.
For example , if you swap the engine you can put your new engine numbers on your odometer, however the problem is , here no1 is charged by kilometers he make with the ca, so there is no reason to roll back , maybe that is why we have no such laws. only when is a new car, odometer is important for first 100 000 km ( warranty stuff ) , after that , no1 cares about it .

didn't knew it can be illegal in some places, and didn;t thinked anyone would like to roll back kilometers having another reason then a technical one.

why you want to sale after that?
