guys i am 60 years old ! i have been a self taught mechanic since a teen , i could pull the engine or trans out of my 2003 gmc envoy rebuild em and theyed work ! i have built many muscle cars in my time , i once built a 351 cleveland 13 . 9 to one dual 600 holleys tunnel ram msd ignition 4.57 detroit locker rear. anyway on to my problem. i fish in my 16 foot boat 30 miles out in Olympic peninsula so i built a volvo 2.3 liter engine , i bought a forged steel crank (volvo penta qa 151) that gave me 2.5 liters. i had ross racing build me 4 forged aluminum pistons, put arp rod bolts and head studs. pertronics - msd ignition. i put a weber dgas 38- 38 on her its 10 to one compression cam is big for a stock engine but not (lumpy) its called a V cam in volvo speak, believe it or not my volvo 4 banger was made to run at 4500 rpm constant !! My problem _ my weber ****ing drips fuel the second i pull on throttle ( in my mind ) to much fuel poors out of ventures . i have had a myriad of Holley and carter carbs on many a muscle car and at idle and open throttle they did not dribble fuel, i have tried to changing jets, emulsion tubes, idle jets , main jets , my engine uses to much gas ! when throttle is way open i saw a mist on my old holleys n carters but my webber ? way to much fuel is coming out hey im sure somone on this site can give me a hunch at what setup to put in my webber dgas ? meaning idle jets , main jets , emulsion tubes , so on , thanks for your help barry w. bruington.

I'm not sure us Fiat guys here can offer much help. I will point out that Webers like a very low pressure fuel pump, around 2.5 psi.

😈 Did someone mention a boat? 😈

IMO, the 38 DGAS comes jetted for a 3-liter 6 cyl; I have one on my B-20 2-liter, it's too thirsty.
I will be reducing the main jet size next (both barrels, they always run) and likely increasing the air compensators too.
Ran a 32ADFA on it for a long time, switched it from a needle valve inlet to a Grose Jet (ball-bearing type) for better 'dribble control'.
Moved it to the 38 DGAS when I upsized.
