NFC: FWD rims on a RWD car?

So--Honda Civic's and my son's E30 BMW both have rims with 4 x 100 lug spacing. Can I put Honda Civic rims on the BMW? Obvious the Honda is FWD and the BMW RWD.

I know the question has to do with offset. I can't remember which way is possible and which is not. I idea is to save money and not have to buy spacers. E30 rims are near impossible to find.

Neither swap is ideal.

If you put the fwd wheels on the BMW, they will sit too far in towards the suspension. You should use spacers to make them sit out further.
Putting RWD wheels on a fwd car will make them stick out from the wheel wells, and cause accelerated wear on the wheel bearings.

Center bore?

From what I read, the center bore on the Civic is 56.1 mm vs 57.1 mm on the E30. So, Civic rims probably won't fit on the BMW. The other way around, the BMW wheels will not be hub centric on the Civic.

I found these numbers here.
