NOS PBS Webster quick-change trans gears

True Classic
UPDATE: All gear sets are now SOLD. :woot:

New old stock original Webster gear sets for the rare PBS Engineering Fiat X1/9-128 "quick-change" racing transaxle. PBS says they made 40-50 of these racing transaxles for the X1/9 (& 128), and used the same Webster gears in a few specially-modified Ford Escort transaxles (which is why the box labels read "PBS Escort"). PBS had Webster make these gears for them back in May, 1987, & their packaging has remained sealed until I recently opened them to verify the contents & to take photos of each gear set. These are NOS gears in mint condition, still in original packaging & protective Cosmoline coating (that's the brown stuff seen on some of the gears in the photos - it is NOT rust).

I have 6 different ratios available, 14 sets total. The ratios are:

18/37 - 2.056 (1 set available)
23/33 - 1.435 (5 sets available)
24/32 - 1.333 (1 set available)
28/27 - 1.074 (3 sets available)
27/29 - 0.964 (3 sets available)
29/27 - 0.931 (1 set available)

Price is $75/set, or 2 sets for $130. A package deal for all 14 gear sets could also be made as well, if desired. (FYI, other new Webster-Hewland gear sets sell for $200-$500+ per set nowadays at places like Pegasus Racing, etc.).

Those dog clutch bosses instantly reminded me of the trans rebuild I did on a 1950 Harley Davidson Servi-Car!!:blackeye:
