The shots were taken back in September on a gloriously sunny day (not to mention HOT - just for once) at the classic Goodwood circuit. The whole day was organised by the Lancia Owners Club and I was invited along as a guest.
It turns out that the LOC had paid for a professional photographer to come along and take shots of all the cars running - these photos were the complementary prints sent to me (additional prints or enlargements are of course available at a price). I wasn't aware of the photographer and these turned up just after Christmas - 3 months after the event......
For those of you who don't know, the black car in the background of the second photo is a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo. I belive that this one is owned by Barry Waterhouse (of Barry Waterhouse Engineering) and is something of a monster - I could pretty much keep up with all of the other Evo's on the track, but this one was lapping about 20mph faster than me - infact the only car that was keeping pace with it was a full race Lancia Beta Coupe!
Hopefully the photos of the Dallara will be available soon as well!
