Oil at startup

There are systems, self built or purchased, of supplying oil to the motor just BEFORE starting up, thus reducing wear, substantially. This is a fact. I was wondering - if I drive long, make a short stop and start again, the oil squirted into the engine now will be cold (it set in that pressure vessel for a long time) but the engine will be hot, was just shut off.
Wouldn't that thermal shock damage the engine? do I need to consider that?
Not that I am going to do it right now, it is on my very long "to do list" (the "have done list" is much shorter IYKWIM (that is - if you know what I mean)).

I would not worry about it.

I have a TEE fitting at my oil sending unit that pumps the oil into the engine, key on opens solenoid. The cold oil now enters the block passage ways and is heated before it hits the bearings. My way of thinking is that some oil is better than no oil while cranking, be it either hot or cold.
