It is located at the top of the cylinder block, just below the edge of the cylinder head, between the #2 and #3 spark plugs. I have seen people install a "t" fitting, add a gauge sender and retain the light sender.

If you want to add a light too, then it's easy to drill and tap the block down in the lower position where the sender was on the 1300's. I drill and tap 1/8" pipe for a common japanese or american switch. It's also alot easier to drill and tap this small size.
Retaining the Fiat gauge and sender looks nice, but I find that the oil pressure senders are never very accurate... they tend to read very low... Steve<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

is locsted next to the oil filter on right side of engine for the oil gage. The idiot lite outlet is up
near and left of crankcase breather. The PO blew the
original engine and replaced it with a 128 engine. The 128 does not have an oil pressure gage. When I got the car, no oil pressure! The oil pressure gage was not hooked up. I installed the sending unit into the idiot
gage outlet. Now I have oil pressure but no idiot lite.
