That seems to be a popular item. If I'm not mistaken it is a silicon sealant? I haven't tried it but from what I understand it will squeeze out?

Oh! - it's called "The Right Stuff" by Permatex. Lame name, but it's great product. It's the most expensive sealant they make, and it happens to be the easiest to work with. I've used it on transmission rebuilds, and none of them leaked between the case halves (I never used gaskets, but would shim the diff bearings accordingly). Loctite/Henkel has an equivalent, but I can't recall the product number.

Yes, it will squeeze out - but I do not believe it's silicone based.
