Most folks can't even see an X from the Throne-high comfort of their *&^$%#$ SUV with their spoled kids running around, their CD 1200 watt stereo blaring and a cell phone in their ear... yaking at the headliner!
Honking does no good. One must drive to avoid and defend... using the little white lines in the road simply as a "guideline". (I've seen folks rearend another when they could've swerved and went around... but "didn't want to cross the double yellow line or risk a ticket entering the car-pool lane...")
With that kinda thinking, plus the general dorkiness of those in LA-LA Land, one must be constantly on the OFFENDSIVE to drive ASSERTIVELY and keep themselves outta those situations.
I s'pose in the mighty NORTH your major frustration would be snowmobiles... Do they make a SUV model yet?

Most folks can't even see an X from the Throne-high comfort of their *&^$%#$ SUV with their spoled kids running around, their CD 1200 watt stereo blaring and a cell phone in their ear... yaking at the headliner!
Honking does no good. One must drive to avoid and defend... using the little white lines in the road simply as a "guideline". (I've seen folks rearend another when they could've swerved and went around... but "didn't want to cross the double yellow line or risk a ticket entering the car-pool lane...")
With that kinda thinking, plus the general dorkiness of those in LA-LA Land, one must be constantly on the OFFENDSIVE to drive ASSERTIVELY and keep themselves outta those situations.
I s'pose in the mighty NORTH your major frustration would be snowmobiles... Do they make a SUV model yet?

The guy's had it maintained by Chris Obert over the years and had him go through the engine about 20K miles ago. Another bidder was from Boston and the seller told him that he wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country (now there's an adventure!). Can hardly wait to go pick it up!
