Besure to click on all the links for info about what a Hillclimb is, the resort, past event photos, registration forms for the hill, subscribing to the event maillist, etc.
If anyone is interested in running the Hillclimb, early registration through me by Feb 20 will assure you of a run time with all of the Fiat entries. I intially brought the groups together, and have co-ordinated a separately organized competition event with the Fiat Gathering for the last four years. To do this in the past, I've had to ask for alot of special favors from the Hillclimb organizers. This year will
be our third year running the Hillclimb they put on,
and will require that we who enter the Hillclimb competition get our entries in early to assure us of having all Fiat entries in the same run group time. Running together provides the most enjoyable experience for the competitors, but even more importantly, provides a Wonderful Fiat Show for the Wonderful Fiat Spectators. In the past we've had from 4 to 8 competitors, but around 30 Fiat Spectators and putting on a good show for them is a big part of the overall event.

2001 will mark the Fifth Annual Fiat Oregon Gathering,
which has grown by leaps and bounds during that time,
and has become a mecca of sorts for west coast Fiat
enthusiasts. The resort is a fabulous camping facility (and I've arranged for our use of the prime lakefront group site), wonderful roads in the scenic mountain area, a sanctioned competition event, lots of Fiat Lore and Bench Racingwith a bunch of great Fiat Enthusiasts. Besure to click on all the links for info about what a Hillclimb is, the resort, past event photos, registration forms for the hill, subscribing to the event maillist, etc.
If anyone is interested in running the Hillclimb, early registration through me by Feb 20 will assure you of a run time with all of the Fiat entries. I intially brought the groups together, and have co-ordinated a separately organized competition event with the Fiat Gathering for the last four years. To do this in the past, I've had to ask for alot of special favors from the Hillclimb organizers. This year will
be our third year running the Hillclimb they put on,
and will require that we who enter the Hillclimb competition get our entries in early to assure us of having all Fiat entries in the same run group time. Running together provides the most enjoyable experience for the competitors, but even more importantly, provides a Wonderful Fiat Show for the Wonderful Fiat Spectators. In the past we've had from 4 to 8 competitors, but around 30 Fiat Spectators and putting on a good show for them is a big part of the overall event.

2001 will mark the Fifth Annual Fiat Oregon Gathering,
which has grown by leaps and bounds during that time,
and has become a mecca of sorts for west coast Fiat

I think I'm going to use this trip as an excuse to finally go on a longer vacation I've been planning for a while but haven't gotten around to yet. I want to go up through oregon, washington and touch on canada before heading back down to ca and hitting yosemite and napa.
