This is a pic of one dissasembled. Everything checked good.

Had to open it up because the (4) boot clamps were beyond loose and let all of the 90 wt gear oil leak out through time. - as indicated by oil in the center body tunnel section under and around the steering box assembly.

As an option these boxes can be repacked with lithium based molybdenum grease. Much thicker. I chose this option on reassembly.

Note: The boot positions should be swapped.

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial]<!-- google_ad_section_start -->Jobs a breeze Ulix. Should have no problems. I would assume use a drift from the short tube end and drive it out. Mine was good so didn't monkey with it. As you probably already know....that bushing is indexed in three places (and is made of plastic).

The entire assemble floats in rubber so I wouldn't worry too much about a minor excess tolerance on that particular bushing.
