Progress Report Engine.....

Update 4-3-07

Dropped the parts off at the Machine shop this morning. We weighed the pistons and the variance was just over 3 grams. The rods were off about the same. They were from different cylinders so one rod being 3 under and one piston being 3 over. The #1 piston was 3 over and the #3 rod was 3 under. These engines were well balanced from the factory. All sould come back within .25 grams...Its not that much but for 50 bucs........Why not try it.....The crank and flywheel are being done too....I couldn't take pics since they are doing the work next week. Should be building the motor next weekend!!!!!!:)

Why did you keep the "huge cast in valve flycuts" pistons???

If you have uprated the cam and are looking for more performance, why didn't you spend a few $$ and drop in the small flycut style pistons and boost your static CR?
