Ball joint

Phil,

Can you tell me where you got that ball joint seperator? Supercheap?

Also, will it do the job on the rear trackrod ball joint (with suspension in place in car)?

hi bmck , yes got it from supercheap for $30 should be $60 but there is a Easter sale on now ! so be quick and get one !
not to sure if the trackrod will come out with the spring pushing down on the suspension ? maybe block up control arm with wood so drive shaft is level ?

Rear 'track rod' (controls toe) can be done with the suspension in place, but the main lower ball joint can not. The main ball joint will hit the CV joint if you try....

pulled apart strut and again the gas struts are stuffed lucky "MATT" has got another order on it's way ! ( I'll better go and see the wife " honey can I have some more money ! :hug: :blackeye: :dead: )

clean up and painted one side + installed new brake piston "o" ring and dust boot !

now to do the other side ! :sad:
