I shipped it from LA to NY...
... it weighed 91 pounds packed in double cardboard... and I used FEDEX GROUND. Cost was LESS than 50 bucks... but this was in 2001 or 2002.
They will also pick up from your home (at that time) for another 3 bucks... and I wish I had done hat too!
Do try ALL the venders now... I priced them online and then called to verify. It does need to be shipped dry who needs the extra weight anyway... just don't say anything about it HAD oil in it... they all get touchy.
OH... try Mad Matt... he ships for Hoelscher to rebuild them... he'd probably know best. I just received parts from him today too... they came via FEDEX Ground!
