RECARO SEAT INSTALL

Hi, All
It's almost time to debut my X after 3 years hospital,
Last step is to install RECARO seats.
Problem is set screw of the seat is bottom.
I would like to have good idea to set on exist rail, I would'nt like to change the seat height. Seat width is just neat.
Understand what I mean?

Recaros in the X1/9?

I'm not sure any Recaro will fit in the X1/9; but if you can work it out, I would be very interested to know exactly which model Recaro seat you have... and how tall you are.
 
Oh I'm pretty sure they will fit.... I had Momo racing seats with 5 point harnesses for years in my X and then sold them to Matt Brannon of Midwest X1/9 because they were to uncomfortable for everyday driving.

Recaros

I used Fiero seats (recovered). They fit great (without rails, or with rails if you take padding out of the seat bottom). They are the perfect width.
Also, I used Recaros which measured 19.5" (width) in one of my 240Z builds. They would easily fit in an X. Vintage, bulb pump for lumbar and all. $$$ and tough to find though. I would check "The Samba" web site. It is a VW site which has small seats (for VW's). That's where I have found severeral pair(s) of Recaros for different projects.
