Refurbished Garage

True Classic
Finally got around to refurbishing my entire garage to get it ready to work in year round (last winter was brutal in Pennsylvania). It's a wood framed, T111 sheathed 20' by 20' structure. I Tyvek home wrapped the whole thing, then vinyl sided it. Remoced EVERYTHING from inside (the hardest part of the job!), rewired it with 12-2 wiring pulled from the 240V 100amp service I ran for my 80 gallon compressor. Insulated the walls, floor and ceiling, drywalled it, installed a garage floor tile system, then installed multiple T-8 flourescent bulb fixtures meant for cold starts. I finished it last night and already put my current project car, a '69 VW Beetle convertible, in it to start tearing it down.

Man-Cave

Dave, you remind me of the line from the old Army recruiting commercial, "We get more done before 9 o'clock than most people get done all day."

It looks too clean!

That's a really nice garage

I have been looking for a house with more garage space for years. I am envious.

Good work Dave...

...I went to photo #3 first and then toggled to photo #4... HA!

What an "addition" to your garage... The TWINS!

Secondly... that damn thing is now TOOOO sterile to work on cars in... you need to lease it out for SURGERIES!

HA!

Congrats!
