This was just after I bought the car from Joe (the guy in red with white helmet).
He planned to attend this race before selling the car to me. We finally raced both using the same car.
I had better results than Joe. Probably he was taking too much care of the car he just sold me

Speed test 115mph on the german highway (autobahn)
No speed limit there! Only the trafic prevented me to go further. Joe told me he made 200kph (125mph) with the same car. This may be true as the engine was revving only 6000rpm at 115mph and willing.

The engine sounds jerky but was actually very smooth, the jerky effect is due to the wind as I was running top down.
I got no vibration in the steering wheel or the chassis at all, the car is smooth as silk. No overheat as well. I guess it could run that way until the tank is empty

Local X1/9 gathering april 11 2010
This annual gathering is set by the french X1/9 club. It is scheduled after each winter on a regional level (local get together). It is called "All (X1/9) outside".
