This undercar sheetmetal panel seems to protect the starter and the front of the engine from water spray and debris. The yellow lines in the pic below are where the edges of the panel have a rubber piece attahed.
I had the panel powder coated, but after taking the rubber off, I'm not happy with the condition of it. But my problem is that when looking in the McMaster-Carr catalog, I have no idea
of what KIND of rubber sheet I need to order to duplicate it: there's Buna-N, butyl, ECH, EPDM, fluorosilicone, gel, gum, natural, latex, neoprene, nitrile, PVC, santoprene, vinyl, and vitron! Yikes! :help:
