SF Bay Area gathering anyone?

Ok, I am going out on a limb here and hopefully get at least one reply :)

But - we have a decent # of Bay Area Xs and we need to get together dudes and dudettes! I am tired of hearing about the SoCal X'ers get togethers - mainly cuz I am too far away to join :cry:

What say yee? I am open to any location to hook up (within reason).

Sadly - I don't have a place/location in mind but will work on it! Dates: Perhaps weekend of the 20th (November)? Fiat America has an event weekend after Thanksgiving.

I meet mostly spider owners when ever I travel to SF for a few drinks. I do not know if any of the core members have X1/9s, but it is worth meeting the other Fiat owners. Great group of guys.

I've been wanting one but never made a thread about it. I think if we get enough people we can locate a get together somewhere in between so it's not hard on anyone.

Gardi, you have a nice big parking lot in front of your house let's have it there :headbang: just kidding :)
 
Well,

There are plenty of options as far as which bridge to take to get anywhere :)

I am not apposed to going to the east bay if the #'s there outweigh us on the peninsula and coast.

Let's keep this thread moving...
 
How about Sat Nov 27?

The Fiat America club is having a gathering at Go Kart Racer in Burlingame on Sat Nov 27 to go kart racing. Meeting at 10:30. Lunch at Zorba's Pizza in Millbrae afterwards for bench racing. Should be a few X1/9s there. Please consider joining us if you have time, even if just to stop by and say hi.

I know there is a FA event the following weekend but I was thinking a breakfast/coffee thing say Saturday or Sunday morning the 20th/21st. I am way more familar with the peninsula/San Mateo area. However if someone has a location in mind in the East Bay or in or close to SF please speak up.

Foster City?
I rarely eat there but I used to hang out at a coffee shop near Port Royal before soccer games :) Its in the Lucky's shopping center on Edgewater blvd.

Burlingame?
Stacks on El Camino/Burlingame Ave. Awesome breakfast but unless we get there EARLY it gets packed. Parking is ok. You can park across the street next to the Cal Train tracks.
San Mateo?
Too many - but all are downtown and parking sucks.
Belmont?

I am pretty open but if I had to choose I would say Cafe Bliss in Belmont. Its nice and cozy and parking should be decent.
