Silly question for Brett and all of the Euro-spec X owners

I do not even know why this crossed my mind, but...on European X's and all other right hand drive X1/9's, are the engine cover and rear trunk release levers, along with the front trunk release lever on the left side of the car, being the same as the US spec cars are? I guess I am wondering if theses drivers have to walk around to the opposite side of the car to open the trunks and engine cover.
I would think they most likely are all on the left side, as there would have to be extensive tooling expense at the factory to accomodate a change.

i don;t know, but i am pretty sure they have in on driver side , wherever is that, left or right

Well...

All of the X1/9s featured the same placement of the trunk and engine release levers. It is a pain to get out and walk around but it is one of those little oddities about our RHD cars that make them even a little cooler.

That is what I thought...

...and I agree. It's not like you are walking around a stretch limo to get to them.
