Where can I find the short fuses?
Agreed. I posted how the "tangs" that hold the fuses are easily removed and replaced on these fuse boxes. All you need is two of the "long fuse" style tangs from a spare fuse box. Then swap them for the two short ones (only one per fuse is needed). That way they will utilize the same 'long' fuses as the rest.I really like the approach of changing them to long versions of the fuses or add a fuse holder for a modern fuse. Continuing to use things which are in short supply is asking for trouble to me.
Would love to get a couple. Have to find an old dead fuse box and get a couple of brass clips to convert to the long onesI may have some. Just need to remember to look for them when I’m at my parts stash this weekend.
