Waitin' On Parts...
I entered our local higher-end auto show again his year, and enjoyed all of the FIAT and Lancia cars that were entered.
1954 FIAT 1100-103TV Bertone Berlinetta (only one in the USA), First Place (yes, that is Lilli Bertone's autograph on the glove box door):
Hemmings article on this same car: https://www.hemmings.com/magazine/h...-1954-Fiat-1100-TV-Bertone-Coupe/3706071.html
My 1986, second place:
Third place, 1955 Messerschmitt KR200 microcar (with Carol and Steve hamming it up in the background!):
Nice 1967 Lancia Fulvia V4 engine and front wheel drive:
Spectacularly impeccable 1967 Lancia Flaminia Super Sport Zagato (Hagerty says in concour condition these are $450,000 cars):
This owner also has an equally breathtaking Aston-Martin DB6 that I was parked next to at another show last year.
An amazingly well done 1957 FIAT 600 Multipla:
There was also a meticulously restored 1982 FIAT Spider 2000 with the most amazing foot-deep black paint job, but sorry, no pix :-(
For some reason, the Flaminia and the 2006 Veyron in attendance were not judged in their class, they were displayed in the Foreign Exotic class instead.
