SS coolant tank?

a magnet won't stick to it if it's stainless (unless it's "low grade" stainless with a lot of carbon in it, or not much chromium, something like that)
If it's metal, it's probably stainless, I have a vague memory of there being a few steel ones but not sure on that

Thanks Jeff!

I thought that was the case, but wanted to confirm.

In that case, check out FS&W.

Cheers,

74-77 were mild steel IIRC. 78s were stainless and 79+ were plastic. Somewhere I have a great picture of the interior of a mild steel tank from a 75 parts car. All the pinholes make it look like the ceiling off a planetarium with a start show going on. :) Naturally, I can't find the picture.

This tank has been taken out of my '75, but I tried three magnets and none of them are slightly attracted to the tank. Also, the inside is rust free.
