So, I arrive via PDX thursday night (late, very late), Friday am we drive to Bremmerton the object being to arrive early enough to make some runs on the test and tune course. Test and tune is from 10 am to 3 pm. Then restration, tech and course walking from 5 to 7 pm. So it looks like Friday afternoon might be good. SCCA still hasn't posted a run/work order yet, so no idea what sat/sun will look like yet. I leave monday morning from PDX. Sorry I couldn't arrange for more time, but TWA (The Worst Airline) messed up my orginal schedule.
I haven't yet as Steve and Mo what kind of plans they have yet, but perhaps a small group of us could do dinner either Friday or Saturday evening.

The usual post-Bremerton event is at the Silver City Brew Pub, which is an extremely up-scale brew pub about 25 minutes away. We usually eat at Tweten's Lighthouse in Port Orchard which has a nice view of the water, little boats in the harbor and then huge aircraft carriers across the bay, but it's also on the spendy side.
I haven't sampled much of Bremerton's nightlife
(hmm . . . Navy town on a Saturday night - no, I don't think so) so someone other than me will have to come up with a location.
We're all staying at the Guesthouse Inn (aka "the Gas House") which boasts a fast-food grease pit (McDonald's) and an all-American grease pit (Shari's?) on site.
If you come on out to event site, PLEASE obey the posted speed limits on the access road to the Bremerton site, the neighbors are a)cranky and b)well-armed.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

So, I arrive via PDX thursday night (late, very late), Friday am we drive to Bremmerton the object being to arrive early enough to make some runs on the test and tune course. Test and tune is from 10 am to 3 pm. Then restration, tech and course walking from 5 to 7 pm. So it looks like Friday afternoon might be good. SCCA still hasn't posted a run/work order yet, so no idea what sat/sun will look like yet. I leave monday morning from PDX. Sorry I couldn't arrange for more time, but TWA (The Worst Airline) messed up my orginal schedule.
I haven't yet as Steve and Mo what kind of plans they have yet, but perhaps a small group of us could do dinner either Friday or Saturday evening.

The usual post-Bremerton event is at the Silver City Brew Pub, which is an extremely up-scale brew pub about 25 minutes away. We usually eat at Tweten's Lighthouse in Port Orchard which has a nice view of the water, little boats in the harbor and then huge aircraft carriers across the bay, but it's also on the spendy side.
I haven't sampled much of Bremerton's nightlife
(hmm . . . Navy town on a Saturday night - no, I don't think so) so someone other than me will have to come up with a location.
We're all staying at the Guesthouse Inn (aka "the Gas House") which boasts a fast-food grease pit (McDonald's) and an all-American grease pit (Shari's?) on site.
If you come on out to event site, PLEASE obey the posted speed limits on the access road to the Bremerton site, the neighbors are a)cranky and b)well-armed.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
