Test pipe length.

Can anybody tell me the exact length of the tube required for a test pipe (i.e. minus the flanges)? It is hard to measure accurately given the shape of the cat.

when i replaced my cat on a previous X with a test pipe, I simply cut the entire assembly off( just behind the flanges on the pipe sides) then measured a piece of pipe and welded it in. no muss no fuss
