Did a window pop up?
After you clicked on the little yellowish icon, did a window pop up asking for the URL?
This is what should have happened:
This is where you paste the ImageShack photo link:
From there, it should immediately show up in your page, even before you hit the
"Submit Reply" button. (which completes your post.)
If your browser isn't letting you do this, it's a problem with your browser settings
or you need a new browser. (I use FireFox)

Try a different method that is easy peasy and works for everyone!
Go to ImageShack ---> http://imageshack.us/
Click the browse button here
Then go to your picture file from the pop up box...click on the photo to open and click on the Upload Now icon.
Once the picture is uploaded you will see this
Then you left click to highlight the link type you want to post (I use the 4th link down)Forum code and then right click copy the link into your thread
