Pottsy
this!

What is it, when was it and what was it for?

Clues: italian with french power :hmm:

Well, Pottsy.....!

..when I first opened your post, and that pic appeared, the first resemblance that "flashed" into my mind was - SABRINA, that big-boobed English model from the '60's!! :shock2:

Dunno what the car is, mate, but it sure looks ODD!

cheers, Ian - NZ

Its apparent inspiration:

The F82 Twin Mustang

Didn't 'Sabrina; refer..

to the engines cam towers?

Car is obviously a Bizzarini or rather a Bizarrarini:laugh:
P-38 Lighting or maybe the British equivalent as inspiration.

Sorry Pat - you're way off mate

But your Bizzarini was inventive.... 2/10
Karl: thought the same but remembered the Heinkel He 162 Z (Zwilling - twin)

Clue: It's an aerodynamic long distance racer that caused the downfall of an italian manufacturer.

As fer yous Lawso - you need more time in the paddock mate!

:hmm::hmm:

You got me...

on this one Potts! The damn thing looks vaguely familiar but the brain cells carrying the particulars have obviously kicked the bucket.
DeTomaso, maybe (I'm desperate) ? What era approximately ? Early 70s? Late 60s? Made by a motorcycle company? :hmm::hmm::hmm:

Well done Karl!

The OSI Silver Fox 1967 Le Mans entry.

What did you do to find the info?

So wouldn't you know it...

Got my British classics magazine in the mail and lo-n-behold what should be in the leading column but pictures of this oddball at Goodwood . Timing is everything in life:laugh:

I searched on twin hull car. Found a picture of it. Followed that to Goodwood, which led to OSI.
