Has anyone out there in X-land given any thought about stuffing a VW, VR-6 engine into an X1/9?? I mean after all, during WW-II Fiat built a cute little fighter plane called the G-55 that used a licensed built Daimler Benz DB605 V-12 as the powerplant. That just happens to be the Engine used in the Me(BF)-109 and it was a very successful fighter:headbang:. Just thought I'd throw this on the table for a little discussion :innocent:. I've been trying to convince myself that I need another project, I mean after all, a man should have at least Four projects going
