That same car has been on Hemmings for at least a year or two with no takers, also on BAT back in January. The Maserati/Lotus dealer seller is clueless about the car; clearly it's not an Abarth OT1000 nor does it have any connection to Abarth whatsoever. The original ad used to claim it had an "original Abarth-tuned twin-cam" engine, but has since been revised (likely after the ad being torn to shreds by various websites' readers/commenters). Don't let that eBay bid fool you, the real ask is just under $28k for the car - delusional.

As I've said before, this car could be really nice with a bit of tidying-up & getting rid of all the Faux-barth crap on it. Unfortunately, that price will have it sitting on the lot forever. :hrmph:

It would be an entertaining car to have at a realistic price.
At least the mods are somewhat period correct. The 124 engines really change the car and I'm not convinced it's all for the better even though the power is entertaining. I had one with the 124 pushrod engine.
