Anyone know if these are available NEW?

Interested if anyone have some spare.
I have bought 2 off of ebay, but they do not seem to hold. Even after I have rerouted the load over relays.

Don't know about new but I had to rework a different year's switch to work in my '81. It can be done if you open up the switch and move some bits around.

If you want a 1979, the switch from a Strada can be made to work. I have them in both blue http://www.fiatplus.com/light-blue-headlamp-switch-pr-299042.html & brown http://www.fiatplus.com/brown-headlamp-switch-pr-299046.html.

1983 is a strange year as some used the above switch, and some used the later slider switch (which is not available, but this switch can be made to work http://www.fiatplus.com/headlamp-control-switch-pr-305577.html)

Putting the outer lighting on relays is a very good idea, but checking every wire & connector for a voltage drop, and fixing them, will help even more.
