Join West Michigan FLU as we attempt to squeeze in one last “weather permitting“ event of the season.
The Central West Michigan Apple (and color) Tour… on Saturday October 24th 2009.
Our tour will start at 10:00 am at the Coopersville Farm Museum… 374 Main St. Coopersville, MI. From Coopersville we’ll take a scenic drive stopping at the old Marne Train Depot (now a café) for a bite to eat.
After eating we’ll stop at a few “yet to be determined” apple orchards that are part of the Central West Michigan Apple tour: http://www.michiganappletours.com/cwtour.html.
You’ll find soft cider, hard cider, warm donuts, baked goods, crafts, hayrides a corn maze and more.
Cool temps won’t stop us… but rain, snow, sleet or hail will.
Based on the weather forecast on Friday October 23rd, a “weather permitting” decision will be made by 7pm.
