Whack-a-Doodle Prop Rod Bolt [Was: Can an X Brother Get a Pic?]

Can someone do me a big favor:hug: and take a snapshot of the hardware that attaches the frunk prop rod to the frunk lid?

Got a big bucket of freshly zinc dichromated hardware but seems like I did not take a "before" snapshot!:bla:

I seem to remember seeing a selection of prop rod clips in the Help! section of my local PepAdvanceZone parts store. Most looked like they are intended to push into a mounting hole.

Maybe there's one in that assortment that is sized to fit the prop rod, then carefully cutting off the part that encapsulates the rod and gluing it to the existing plastic piece that screw mounts to the chassis?

My '86 has the wackiest, goofy-est, prop rod bolt arrangement. The bracket that is welded to the underside of the hood is split and the prop rod bolt fits into the split.

What's up with that?:drink::wacko:
