We replaced the battery, shot in some carb cleaner, replaced a bad fuel line and the fuel filter and Voila! A fairly well-running X that needs a bit of work, but drives and starts again. He is likely to take it home (for free), but will fix it up and preserve an X that otherwise would have gone to the junkyard. My '86 went to a X-head who will completely restore the car and enjoy it.
In all, a nice day's work keeping a couple of ragged Xs on the road, in the hands of those who love it!
