The wheel style used on the Lamborghini Countach would look great on a X1/9 in my opinion:
They were 15" and I like 15's on the X. But the Lambo ones were really wide (I doubt you could make big enough flares to cover them) and would be extremely expensive to find and adapt.
Later Lamborghini did a modern version of them, but they are much larger diameter and lack the deep dish. And I think they are too modern looking for the X:
Have any of the aftermarket wheel makers ever made knock-offs or done this style? I don't follow the wheel industry that closely to know if it has. I do recall Centerline made some similar ones with the five round holes on a flat center, but they did not look nearly as good as the early Lambo's:
