I'm fortunate enough to have a parts car where this piece is good, but befoere I cut any metal I'd like to know if there is any tips you guy might have.
There is nothing like experience, especially when you can get it from someone else and save yourself the mistakes
BTW: since you guy already helped me to remove the windshield you only have yourselves to blame for this one

If it just a few small holes, it can be sandblasted, metal fitted and welded from underneath, and then skim-coated with bondo or fiberglass.
Now, do note that I DON'T mean to fill in the whole thing with bondo... bondo will hold water if it is not painted over (and there is no way to paint from underneath). What I mean is to get it as close as possible with metal, and then smooth it over with the bondo.
It's a lot less work than trying to cut and paste a car together!

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial]<!-- google_ad_section_start -->The lower passenger side is pretty much gone. There is a gap over 1 inch wide from the base of the windshield to the hood and then it also run for @6 inches, 1 inch wide toward the middle.
I forgot to mention that this is actually a complete restoration of the car, everything is coming off, all old repairs, new paint, engine rebuild ect. I will avoid bondo as much as possible.
I will get a picture of that area, (there are other damaged areas). I'll send you a pic if you like
