Yes - Replacing throttle cable is a "fill-in-the-blank"

But thanks to AleX1/9's photos from an early thread http://xwebforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/16371/ and the threads from the Best of Xweb, I was able to complete this job by myself. It's weird, I farm out some of the easy stuff (brakes) and I tackle the hard stuff. First the brake and clutch master cylinders and now this. But I figure these jobs would cost a small fortune unless the mechanics already know what they're doing. If it takes me 2 days or a week, it's no big deal.

I replaced mine just before a road trip. (it broke the day before) I found the break cable from a two person bicycle worked well and the cable was easy to get at any bicycle shop.
