Prepped and POR'd the floor pans (two coats per the instructions). The driver's side pic was taken halfway thru the first coat

Put some Dynamat under the dash and on the driver's side front firewall. Will do the same on the passenger side. I am not planning on using the factory insulation so weight-wise, it's probably a wash.

Installing the assembled pedal box. Blue hoses bought from Matt at Midwest.

It's in.

Whoops! Just noticed that I'll have to partially drop it again to get the clutch hard line positioned properly. No biggie, only four nuts to loosen.

Hi JJ,

Got 'em from Matt probably 1-1/2 years ago, maybe two. Need about 15 feet to redo all three hoses.

I think the clamps are from Matt too---stainless steel

I haven't gone so far as to run the numbers, but I think the equation is going to be along the lines of this:

Weight of box of Dynamat that I bought = weight of factory tar-based deadener that I removed + the weight of the factory insulation (the greenish jute padding glued to a thin tar-based sheet) I am not using.
