Yugo 1100cc cylinder head, will fit Fiat 128 & X1/9 1100-1300-1500 SOHC engines. Good used condition, includes the original camtower mounting bolts (not shown). Valve sizes are standard 36mm/31mm. Casting number is 128A000, part number is 4469750. Date code casting indicates a manufacture date of January, 1987.
Fitting this Yugo 1100 head to the Fiat SOHC engine is a common "budget-build" way to increase the compression ratio for increased performance, due to it not having the large recessed area surrounding the combustion chamber like the USA 1300 & 1500 heads have. It also means the head won't have to be shaved down to eliminate this "fire-ring" area as is done to most performance SOHC heads, so there's no need to worry about the associated timing belt/tensioner bearing sizing issues (you can just use your stock belt & bearing).
