Yugo and 128 4 speed compatibility

Yes and no.
You can take the entire contents and put it in a 128 box or vice versa. Swapping between means paying attention to tooth count, type of syncros and the reverse gear is slightly different.
I found the Yugo case is designed with much better oil flow than the Fiat one was. I also found the yugo reverse gear is better as well.

Thanks Eric, my reason to switch cases was a small indent crack on the bottom of the Yugo box, so maybe it's best to just weld the case. I have to find out what is binding, I only have one gear. I think it was dropped in shipping (UPS) on the shift rod and maybe a shift fork got bent or broken.
