I love the stance...

What size wheels are you running? The stance looks awesome.

Great Job..:)

15 x 7 on the rear and 15 x 6 on the front, it sits pretty low, scrubs the floor pan on some speed bumps, but looks good i think.

I was considering the same size wheels in Revolutions. What size tires front and rear are you running and do you know the offset of the wheels.

I am currently running 17x7's on the rear and 16x7's on the front.

205/40/17 on rear and 205/40/16 on front with 40mm offset and using spacers but I was considering the Revolutions in 15's just for a different look.

I can't attach a photo right now as I am at work but I have many photos on Xweb. Page 10 of this thread has photos of my X and you can see the wheels.

Hi Duane,

What format/size pictures are best sent to the forums so they don't have to be re-sized? Or, is that a problem?

Thanks, Sparks

Jim McKenzie's 1977/1985 X1/9

I have made some minor changes on my car since I purchased it from Jeff. I took out the radio, and have only partially filled the "hole"...added some Momo gear and new rugs.

My intent is to add a Gran Finale spoiler (but with three sources still don't have one in my possession yet!), and paint the car bright yellow. I then want to put Laser stripes (similar to the 74-75 ladder stripes on her and add Gran Finale wheels.

Anyway, if I can figure out the photo mechanics from Flickr there are photos below the link:

New pics

I took advantage of the currently rare sunny day today and took a couple of "coming out" pics after the new rebuild and finishing up the restoration.

So not a picture of my whole car, but an interesting part of it...

I will upload some pictures of it when it is a little cleaner.

Mine, just arrived the other day.

81' Fuel injected, custom covered seats/door panels, CD91's and Gran Finale wing, although all that stuff is coming out.

Here's mine

Mine's an 81 FI non-AC with a few upgrades:

-IAP header, magnaflow muffler, cat delete
-Cold Air intake to driver side duct
-KYB's and IAP springs (cut for even lower stance)
-Bumperless via pre 79 spoiler and grill
-BWM,WRM,optima red top
-Miller's Mule adjustable cam wheel
-Megasquirt1 EMS V3.0
-Innovate LC-1 wideband controller and gauge
-EDIS system including trigger wheel, dist. plug, and sensor mount from Jason Miller
Parts shelf, waiting for install:
-Lightenned flywheel from Jason Miller
-MK1 Uno turbo manifold and NOS ihi turbo
-74 turn signals

She's not much of a looker and she's pretty rusty but it's all cosmetic and she goes, stops, handles, and functions correctly and that's what's important.
